The original release sheet reads: KENNEDY TOUR: CALLS FOR U.S. LEAD IN SPACE The President tours four Space installations: Huntsville, Alabama, Cape Canaveral, Fla., the Houston Manned Space Center and the McDonnell plant in St. Louis. He inspects our Space progress and gets highly classified reports on how far we've gone. In Houston he calls for backing in our Space effort, saying we cannot afford to lag if we want to be in the forefront of nations. FASHION PARADE: TAN MAH HIDE Leather is falling into step in the Fall Fashion Parade. Finished in an explosion of rainbow colors, leather has been styled into smocks and sheath-topped shirts and is used to accent tweed and leopard----yes, leopard. TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO There was a prologue [illegible] 25 years ago. The people of Shanghai were stand [illegible] aggression when they were bombed without [illegible] and from the sea.
