The original release sheet reads: GETTYSBURG SHRINE IS RE-DEDICATED July, 1863--saw Confederate troops reach a peak in their war with the north...the Battle of Gettysburg. The gray-clad troops broke through only to be driven back the next day and the war was lost to the south. Now, 100 years later after Lincoln's memorable Gettysburg Address, the battlefield shrine is re-dedicated at ceremonies led by General Dwight Eisenhower. It's the resting place of heroes who passed on a priceless legacy-a nation strong and united. LORD OF THE PLAINS There's no longer any danger that the buffalo is heading for the last round-up...in Canada's Wood Buffalo National Park a herd of 14,000 is rounded up for the annual nose count and physical exam. Man, the buffalo's ancient enemy, is today the majestic beast's best friend. SPORTS FOOTBALL MISSISSIPPI STATE SQUEAKS BY LOUISIANA STATE There's no score in the game until the final few minutes when Mississippi State pushes across a touchdown and then kicks the extra point. CHICAGO BEARS CLAW GREEN BAY PACKERS The Bears go on the prowl in Chicago...looking to growl their way to the top of the Western Pro Division. Bill Wade leads their attack on the Packers and he takes Green Bay's measure with fine passes. When the Chicago attack is stopped they call on Roger LeClearc and he kicks four field goals. The Packers manage to avoid a whitewash in the closing minutes, but Chicago blasts into first place with a 26 to 7 clobbering. UNITED STATES TREASURY TRAILER Movie star Angie Dickinson makes an appeal on behalf of savings bonds sales.
