PRISON ART SHOW San Quentin offers no bars to a prisoner who wishes to express himself through art and 9,000 outsiders flock to see the annual art show. There are more than 800 items on display and the prisoners sell their works at anywhere from $1.25 to $200.00 THE SAHARA BLOOMS The stark wasteland of the Sahara that has lain fallow since the days of the pharoahs is being reclaimed. Great drilling rigs bring in water from an underground sea 3,000 feet below the surgace. Now the desert is blooming and resettled families expect to grow three rich crops a year where nothing would bloom before. SPORTS THINGS ARE JUMPING IN HOLLAND The Northern European Water-Ski Championships bring the best to the Netherlands as they hold a meet in Amsterdam. Germany's Karl Benziger jumps off with the title with a leap of 108 feet and Nils Anderson takes the slalom for Sweden.
