AKRON CRASH INQUIRY STARTS AS ADMIRAL’S BODY IS FOUND AT SEA: ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - The body of Rear Admiral William E. Moffett, Chief of the Naval Bureau of Aeronautics, who was a passenger aboard the ill-fated airship, is recovered from the ocean and brought ashore by a Coast Guard vessel, as the official investigation of the disaster begins at the Lakehurst Air Station. 5.
