Williams carries several ’chutes, cutting himself loose from each for quick plunges when attacked by “enemy” aircraft. 8. $1,500,000 SHIP DESTROYED: BOSTON, MA - A raging fire takes only one hour to wreck a Danish freighter that cost $1,500,000 to build six months ago. Loaded with nitrates, the burning ship is rocked by terrific explosions as fireboats vainly play hoses on the doomed vessel. 9.
