The original catalog description provided by the Ford Motor Company reads as follows: Thread-making machinery in operation. Sheets of rubber being cut off large roller by steel arm scraping along roller, worker cutting off large sheets - sheets being placed on hangers sheets being fed into rollers, cut off and refed into rollers - hunks of rubber coming off conveyor, drop into bin, dust rising from bin - lift carrying large sacks - tanks with ‘Sulfur’ and ‘Zinc Oxide’ written on side - lift carrying large white sacks - view of large scales man walks past bins with ‘Whiting’ and ‘Zinc Oxide’ written on side - opens cover of conveyor belt, white powder dropping into hole.
