The Famous Ballyrunian Railroad.” Steam locomotive with double boiler on monorail hauling flatcars with two men on top - shawled women leave monorail car via a stile over the side - man pulls balky donkey and cart over lift bridge over monorail - bride is lifted - train passes - man examines heavily loaded grape fruit tree. “Grape fruit grows in large clusters and hence the name, grape fruit.” Man holds stem with cluster of fruit. 2. “James Island, S.C. Dipping Cattle to Eradicate Tick. Southern cattle are ducked in big tank.” Cattle dipping. 3. “Road Building. A community is often judged by its roads…” “Preparing the roadbed, removing stumps, roots and topsoil.” Workers using hand tools. “Unique method of loading gravel...” Horse-drawn wagon is driven between lines of men - all throw shovel of gravel in as it passes. “And the ladies helped too, for when dinner time came the hungry workers sat down to a hearty meal.” 4. Freight Yard.
