This film contains newsreel outtakes. The agency provided description is as follows: Interior of casement after alarm has been given, soldiers put machine-gun in place and prepare to fight. In a turret, men putting shell into gun, and man at phone orders "Fire". The electricity works of the fort. The guardroom, as alarm is given and soldiers are sent to every part of the fort. Alarm being given to tanks' troops at Metz, soldiers taking battle stations in their tanks. Shots of the "Infanterie de Forteresse" troops going from their barracks behind the Maginot Line to the forts. Barbed wire and rails in the ground to prevent tanks' progression.
