In the WORLD SERIES, the Los Angeles Dodgers out-hit, out-run and out-play the White Sox to leap from last season’s cellar position to the pinnacle of diamond success. A superb series of performances in the most eye-appealing of all sports in the A.A.U PLATFORM DIVING championships in San Francisco. 2. TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO - PLEBESCITE IN THE SAAR.
