Grenada Part 1
Description
This video provides a view of the island nation of Grenada as it prepares for free elections and the first anniversary of the October 25th, 1983 multinational rescue mission, and, through the voices of Grenadians themselves, tells the story of economic, social, and political progress made during the first ten months of interim government. Cornerstones of the production are on-camera statements by Grenadian Governor-General Paul Scoon; Nicholas Braithwaite (Chairman, Interim Government); Chamber of Commerce president Charles McIntyre; and party leaders who formed the New National Party coalition.
