Free City - 1950 Part 1
Description
This film covers day in the life of the "free city" of Trieste as it recovers from war destruction and the postwar squabbles of its occupiers. Thanks to Marshall Plan aid, there is food on the table again. And the hope of jobs - in manufacturing, on the railroad, in the reopened oil refineries, and, especially, in the shipyards. A Marshall Plan film, produced by Tele-Film, Rome, for MSA, and produced and directed by Romolo Marcellini.
