See It Now Reel 2 · Part 1

Description

In this film, Edward R. Murrow discusses automation with scientists, industrial and labor leaders, and the rank-and-file. Of particular significance are interviews with Walter Reuther of the Congress of Industrial Organizations (on the attitude of labor) and with a Ford Motor Company executive (on Soviet automation). This is a re-edited version of the film of the same title, repackaged as an educational program.
