ON A THOUSAND HILLS Part 2
Description
Shows proper methods of grazing sheep. The animals are rotated from pasture to pasture in order to prevent overgrazing. Explains how overgrazing causes the forage plants to lose their vitality and become smothered by encroaching weeds. Deferred grazing produces healthy forage plants with fewer weeds. Such forage, in turn, produces fatter lambs.
