Description

1) MS USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CVS-39) underway; S2F"s on the forward part of the flight deck. G2) MS DD underway with the group. G3) CU HSS-1 "copter in flight past the USS HAZELWOOD (DD-531) (SV). G4) LS USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN with a DD at the stern; both ships are in silhouette. G5) LA MCU Radar antenna in motion aboard the USS HAZELWOOD.6) MLS DD underway; HSS-1 helicopter in flight. VG7) MS Column of DD"s; the USS ABBOT (DD-629) leading the column (fog). GtoF8) MCU USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CVS-39) underway at sea; an S2F lands on its deck (fog).
