AIR STRIKE NORTH VIET NAM Part 3

Description

1) A to G LS Bank slowly to left, showing layers of clouds in G; camera A/C banks off to left high above the clouds over Hai Phong; a tracer is heading down towards the ground; PAN up over the terrain, showing aircraft flying very low over the area far below on their attack; bombs are exploding on the Hai Phong Power Plant West; smoke is rising from the Power Plant; PAN, river in left of frame, several barges lining the river; PAN back out over the cit, pull up from area up into the clouds. VG 2) A to G LS Bank sharply to left, an A-4C is passed on the bank; bank on out over the river, camera A/C straightens out, looks down over the metropolitan area; bombs are exploding directly below the camera position at the Vinh Motor Vehicle Repair Depot; smoke rises from the area as the camera A/C makes a slow pull out, showing the open sea in BG; an A-4C shoots by in far BG on the PAN. VG 3) A to G LS Bank to left, then to right over the land mass over No. Viet Nam; bomb bursts are sen below on target areas; camera A/C straightens out, showing a winding river; a bomb explodes on the curve of river in BG during a strike on a highway bridge; direct hits are made on the bridge, throwing up smoke from the impact; PAN in towards the smoke rising from the explosions; slow PAN upwards, pull up from the area into the heavy clouds. Ex. 4) A to G MLS Looking down over target area, craters are seen below along the dirt roadway from previous hits; a BULLPUP is heading towards a bridge, explodes on target, throwing up a mass of smoke; the second BULLPUP heads off to the left, PAN up picking up the BULLPUP, loses it again, and misses the explosion; PAN up quickly to the BULLPUP dropping into the center of a field far off target; PAN up, showing the green terrain and mountainous terrain in BG; a slow pull up into the sky. Ex. 5) A to G LS Thin layer of clouds in lower portion of scene; camera A/C begins banking sharply to left picking up the land mass clear of clouds; camera A/C straightens out, to show the north approach of the bridge; an explosion goes off directly in lower FG in a field off the side of a road; slow pull up from the area (soft in focus) F 6) A to G MS Bank sharply to left over target area in preparation for a rocket run on a storage area; bank on over the muddy river; camera A/C straightens out, a salvo of 2.75" Rockets head towards the target from camera A/C; a second salvo is let loose blasting the far shoreline of the river; several barges are on the near side of the river; camera did not hold on the hits too long; explosions were seen and the camera A/C heading pulled up. VG 7) A to G LS Bank sharply to left over scattered clouds; PAN over a wide river, camera A/C straightens out; a salvo of rockets leave the camera A/C heading down towards the ground, camera pulls up from the area prior to showing the hits.
