Description

1) AtoG MLS Looking out over target area at Phu Ly, No. Viet Nam, showing hills in BG; camera aircraft banks to left, showing thin layers of clouds in BG; bank continues slowly to left, straightening out, pulling up into the sky, banking sharply to left mov;ng towards the farget area; scattered clouds are seen below; PAN on over the target area; PAN over the muddy river, moving thru the area; bomb impacts are seen in BG on the approach to the bridge; more explosions are seen going off in lower left FG from four bomb hits on bridge at Phy Ly; shrapnel is splashing in water directly below the camera position; camera aircraft pan's over the flat terrain, pulls up from area. VG (attack was made by A-4E's of VA-212). 2) AtoA LS Clouds in BG as the camera aircraft banks to left over target area at Phu Ly; camera aircraft begins a sharp bank over the small scattered clouds, coming cut into the clear in moving back over the railroad bridge area, showing smoke rising from bomb hits; camera aircraft straightens out, showing the winding river; smoke off to left from previous bomb hits, plane banks off to right picking up the smoke rising from railroad bridge, flying on over the residential section; An A-4C from VA-76 is flying off to BG very low; camera aircraft pulls up. G 3) AtoA LS A-4E in flight, camera aircraft flies thru clouds, banks somewhat off to the right; target area is No. Viet Nam; camera aircraft banks to right over thunderheads, continuing to right over large heavy cloud formations, on over a cleared area, back over some hazy clouds obscuring the target area below; camera aircraft straightens out, heavy clouds of smoke from bomb hits are in the upper right BG; more bomb hits explode throughout the area; shrapnel is falling to ground off to the left; camera aircraft pulls up from area (scratched); camera aircraft banks off to right. G to F 4) AtoG MLS Bank off to right over target area 7 miles W. of Haiphong, No. Viet Nam; sun reflects off the water below; camera aircraft begins straightening out over the dry flat area, moving in over a large clearing; three bomb hits are seen below, followed by another explosion on the Tram Bac PPS along the river bank; shrapnel showers the river from the secondary explosions; camera aircraft pulls up, banks to the left, climbing back into the clouds. VG 5) AtoG MLS Bank off to right over target area No. Viet Nam, in preparation for bombing run by VA- 2l2 on the Tram Bac PPS along the river bank; camera aircraft flies over a wide river, banking around to left, straightening uP; A-4E is flying low, followed by a second aircraft, moving in on their bombing run; many bomb hits are seen exploding directly below along the river bank, followed by a secondary explosion; an A-4E comes into scene from left flying low; more bomb hits explode, at least twelve in all; shrapnel showers the river off to right; another bomb hit is seen as the camera aircraft pulls, up from area, banking off to right; two A-4E's are in flight in left BG on the bank; camera aircraft banks to right picking up the third aircraft. Ex. 6) AtoG MLS Bank to left very sharply ever cloud formation, pulling out over a cleared area l mile N.E of Hai Duong; smoke is seen rising from the area along the river bank; camera aircraft pulls up from the area banking to left and right evading flak; plane banks over the wide river, some tracers are seen, camera aircraft is moving in evasive action throughout the area; camera aircraft weaves out of the area.
