Minutemen at Concord Part 1

Description

This film consists of two parts. In the first, Dave Garroway spoke on the set of his television show "Wide Wide World" of the statue in Concord, Massachusetts of a Minuteman; a statue honoring the bravery of the men who fought at the Battle of Concord in 1775 and whose likeness appears on the U.S. savings stamp. The second part of the film uses images from historic areas of Concord and voice overs of actors reading the words of men at the battle to encourage viewers to purchase savings stamps.
