MISS U.S.A. - Maryland's Leona Cage wins the coveted title of Miss U.S.A. at Long Beach in a preliminary to the choosing of "Miss Universe 1957." 3A/B/C/D. CUTLERY FOR IKE - One of Britain's Master Cutlers presents Ike with a chest of fine silver in White House ceremonies. / MARIJUANA SEIZED - A $4 million crop of marijuana is burned by Marines assisting Chicago law-men. / CARRIER LANDINGS - Exciting films of jet speed carrier landings demonstrating a new guidance system. / JUNIOR FASHION PARADE - Elegant bow dresses and party coats for the children–continental styling that reach a peak of elegance. 4. HEDGE HOPPERS - Crop dusters in Colombia cut daisies with their landing gear in heart-stopping dare-devil flying. 5. MIDGET WATER SKIS - Full-sized man on midget water-skis, only 15" long, makes quite a splash at Cypress Gardens, Fla., as he zips along at a hair-raising 40 m.p.h.
