Soldiers on foot and horse, cadets of St. Cyr, statesmen and diplomats, file by the coffin in solemn reverence for the one-time Nobel prize-winner. FRENZIED MOBS HAIL RELEASE FROM JAIL OF POLITICAL CHIEFS: DUBLIN, IRISH FREE STATE - Acting promptly on the campaign pledge of President de Valera, the Executive Council, controlled by the Fianna Fail, orders the doors of three prisons open to 20 inmates, incarcerated under the Public Safety Act by ex-President Cosgrave. The giant muscle-bender does not submit easily to the holds of the winner, but battles the leading contender to a standstill for most of the bout, until Shikat slips over a fast double headlock, twists the man-mountain around at his mercy and flops him down for a fall. The victory establishes Shikat as the logical title-bout claimant, and promises fireworks in the coming set-to. (LOCAL – ROCHESTER) WORLD OF INDUSTRY AGHAST AT SUICIDE. (LOCAL – CANADA) MOTOR SHOW.
