(Official Air Force footage released by Department of Defense) Korean war orphans gain a new confidence and hope for the future through the many kindnesses given them by the airmen of the Airways and Air Communication Services stationed in Korea. Children are the same the world over as is evidenced by the ability of these Korean orphans to adjust themselves to a new way of life as well as learning new play methods with the kind of equip- ment that American children enjoy. This provides a pleasant contrast to the games which the Korean children have played for generations. Thanks to the generosity and warm hearts of our servicemen overseas, scenes such as these are repeated around the world. Scenes show: (a) Airmen bringing presents and equipment to an orphanage in Korea sponsored by Airways and ^ir Communication Services. (b) Korean orphans tagging along. (c) Air Force personnel distributing new clothing and toys to the children. (d) Orphans saying grace before eating. (e) Children at play in their newly equipped playground. (f) Playing Korean games.
