Description
The original release sheet reads: 1. FIRST FILMS PRISONERS EXCHANGED: KOREA - First films from Panmunjom show United Nations' troops released by Reds. Showing the effects of their harsh captivity, they are sped by truck and helicopter to "Freedom Village" for the best care the U.N. Command can give them. Interviewed by newsmen, they tell of Red prison-camp atrocities. 2A/B. SUBWAY OF TOMORROW: NEW YORK - A subway rider's dream is prevued in scale model form. It's the world's first underground conveyor-belt subway, proposed to replace Manhattan's outmoded crosstown shuttle system. / MOTORCYCLE HILL CLIMB: SEATTLE - Handlebar jockeys tackle a rugged upgrade at the "Jolly Rogers" annual spring outing, and get their comeuppance on the dirt track. Only one can make the grade in this spill-filled tourney. 3. VETS CRUISE IN LUXURY: WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Presidential Yacht Williamsburg begins a series of twice weekly cruises for wounded G.I.'s. Set to be mothballed, luxurious appointments regale a new type of V.I.P.
