TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO IT WAS THE GIANTS-YANKEES THEN, TOO Baseball - like history repeats itself. Twenty-five years ago the Giants, (then of N.Y.) met the Yankees in the World Series before many of the celebrities of the day. The Giants put up a gallant battle but they went down before New York's "Murderers' Row" - Gehrig, DiMaggio, Dickey and Lazzeri. Twenty Five Years later the Giants (now of San Francisco) meet the Yankees again in the World Series.
